Gainesville’s first local radio station and one of the oldest in Florida,  ESPN Radio 850/900 serves 14 counties daily with SEVEN hours of locally-hosted sports talk shows featuring Steve Russell, Larry Vettel, Adam Reardon, Chris Doering and some of the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications’ finest sports students . The station also features Gator sports and ESPN Radio.  ESPN Radio 850/900 went on the air in 1928 and celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2008.
