The dust has cleared on a busy weekend of Gator sports activity both at home and on the road. The Gator baseball team is now 25-10 overall and 10-5 in SEC play after taking two of three from Kentucky on the road; the Gators won the first two and lost 6-5 on Sunday.  more...

Matt Garza stymied the Boston Red Sox bats and the Tampa Bay Rays beat Boston 7-1 Sunday in Boston. Garza pitched eight shutout innings to get the win as the Rays improve to 9-3 and the Sox fall to 4-8. In other American League games, the New York Yankees complete the sweep of Texas with a 5-2 win and the LA Angels beat Toronto with a 3-1 victory. Chicago falls to 4-9 after losing 7-4 to Cleveland; Kansas City rips Minnesota 10-5; Baltimore beats Oakland 8-3 and Detroit downs Seattle 4-2.   more...
