Shawn Marion scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help the Dallas Mavericks beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-96 to move on to the NBA Finals.

The win allows Dallas to beat Oklahoma City 4-1 in the Western Conference Finals and the Mavs now await the winner of the Chicago-Miami series. Those teams play tonight and Miami can close out that series with a win in Chicago.

Dallas goes to the NBA Final for the second time in franchise history.

In other NBA news, the Los Angeles Lakers have apparently signed former Cleveland coach Mike Brown. He could sign a four year deal today to replace the probably retiring Phil Jackson.
