After looking not so good for three quarters, new Denver starting quarterback Tim Tebow found a way to get his team a win.
Tebow threw two short touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to tie the game and send it to overtime and then an overtime field goal won it as the Broncos edge the Dolphins 18-15 in Miami.
Tebow’s second national championship team at Florida was also honored during the game but he looked nothing much like a champion early on as he was 3 of 8 for a paltry 24 yards through three quarters. But he came alive in the fourth, going 10 of 19 for 137 yards and those two scores.
Elsewhere Tampa Bay looked jet lagged and lost 24-18 to the Chicago Bears in London. Green Bay remains unbeaten after holding on to beat Minnesota 33-27. Carolina tops Washington 33-20 while Cleveland slogs by Seattle 6-3.
In other games, New Orleans absolutely crushes Indianapolis 62-7; Pittsburgh downs Arizona 32-20; the New York Jets rally to beat San Diego 27-21; Atlanta beats Detroit 23-16; Dallas hammers winless St.Louis 34-7; and Kansas City blanks Oakland 28-0.
