Kicker Caleb Sturgis is a first team selection while defensive tackle Jaye Howard is an Honorable Mention on defense.

The AP Player of the Year is Alabama running back Trent Richardson on offense and LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu on defense. The Coach of the Year is LSU’s Les Miles and the SEC Freshman of the Year is Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell.
