Heat Tops Hornets; Magic Loses Again In NBA

The Miami Heat use 22 points each from Dwayne Wade and LeBron James to beat the New Orleans Hornets 109-95 Monday night. Former Gator Mike Miller came off the bench to add a spark to the Heat effort with 14 points as Miami wins after a slow start in the game.

Elsewhere the Orlando Magic lost their fourth in a row after losing at Philadelphia 74-69. Orlando scores only nine points in a brutal third quarter and that futility allowed the 76ers to build a lead they would not give up.

In other NBA games, Blake Griffin had a monster dunk over Kendrick Perkins to help the Los Angeles Clippers to a win over Oklahoma City.
