Rutgers Chooses Assistant To Be New Coach

Rutgers University didn’t look far when choosing a coach to replace Greg Schiano who left to become the coach of the Tampa Bay Bucs. Rutgers assistant Kyle Flood is now the new coach of the team.

Flood was chosen amid rumors that Florida International University coach Mario Christobal was the first choice and another rumored candidate was former Gator assistant and current Temple coach Steve Addazio. But in the end, Flood gets the job.

In the NFL, former Miami Dolphins interim coach Todd Bowles is now with the staff of the Philadelphia Eagles as secondary coach and former Indianapolis head coach Jim Caldwell has been hired as the Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach.
