Gators Win Third Straight NCAA Men’s Indoor Track Title

The Gators men’s track team is celebrating a third consecutive NCAA Indoor Track championship after winning it over the weekend in Boise, Idaho.    Ironically,  Oregon’s women’s team also accomplishes the three peat as well.

In other Gator news, the top ranked Gators baseball team has now won 13 straight games after beating Florida Gulf Coast Sunday 3-2 to complete a series sweep.   Next up is a matchup with Florida State Tuesday in Gainesville.

The Gators softball team takes two of three at Tennessee over the weekend after beating the Vols 1-0 Sunday on a Michelle Moultrie solo homer.   Florida next plays UT Chattanooga at home Wednesday in a doubleheader.

In tennis, the Gators men lost at Kentucky 4-3 on Sunday while the Gators women try for their 101st straight home win against Kentucky this afternoon at 12:30pm after rain postponed yesterday’s match.

And the Gators women’s basketball team will hopefully be invited to the NCAA Tournament with those selections taking place tonight on ESPN.
