Florida Softball Set To Face UCF Tonight

The fourth ranked Florida softball team, coming off a weekend sweep of Ole Miss, heads to Orlando tonight to take on the UCF Golden Knights, the final away game the Gators will play this month.

Florida is currently 35-4 overall, 15-2 in SEC play and 7-4 this season against Top 25 opponents. The Gators have won all of their six conference series so far, with four of them by sweep.

The Gators know they are in for a challenge tonight, as the Golden Knights are on a run of their own, winning eight straight and coming off a sweep of UTEP this past weekend. Florida head coach Tim Walton knows UCF is going to be a quality opponent.

First pitch tonight between the Gators and UCF is set for 6:30 p.m. from the UCF softball complex.
