Gator Linebacker To Transfer

University of Florida sophomore reserve linebacker Graham Stewart will be transferring, probably closer to a school near his Connecticut home.

Stewart primarily played on special teams this past season, playing in 12 games as a true freshman.

Gator head coach Will Muschamp has said on at least a couple of occasions that there might be some players who leave the program during this off season.   He released a statement saying he wished Stewart well and that it was Stewart’s desire to transfer closer to home due to some family issues.

In the statement, Stewart also said he needed to be closer to home because of some personal family issues and he said he enjoyed his time at Florida.
