Gator Women’s Tennis To National Final; Baseball In SEC Tournament Today

The Florida women’s tennis team, the defending national champions, will get a chance to defend that crown today when it faces UCLA for the national championship.

Florida got to this point by beating Duke 4-3 on Monday in a match that was very close.   Number one UCLA advances with a tough 4-3 win over Southern Cal.

Meanwhile the Gator baseball team begins postseason play today in the SEC Tournament when it faces Auburn; you can hear the game live on Country 103-7 The Gator starting at 5:25pm.

Ironically, the Gators and the Tigers met in the final regular season series of the year and Florida won two of three at Auburn.   The Gators are expected to start righty Jonathan Crawford on the mound today.   The Tigers will counter with righty Jon Luke Jacobs who did not survive the second inning in his weekend start against the Gators.
