U.S. Open Golf Tournament Starts Today

The second of golf’s major tournaments, the U.S. Open, gets underway today out in San Francisco, California.   No former Gator golfers are in the event.

Of course all eyes today are on the dream pairing that will tee off sometime around 10:30 eastern time as Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Bubba Watson will all be in the same grouping.

Rory McElroy is the defending champion but he will have to navigate a very long golf course that features a hole that is 670 yards long!

The tournament runs through the weekend.
