Consensus Reached On College Football Playoff

BCS commissioners have come to an agreement on a plan for a proposed college football playoff.

The model they will propose is a four team playoff with the two semifinal games being played within the existing bowl structure with a championship game to be played at a site with the highest bidder.

Although there are details to be worked out, it looks like all the BCS commissioners are unified under this major proposal.   The plan will be presented to university presidents next week for their approval and if that happens, it looks like a playoff will be reality starting in 2014.
