As far as Gators on Sunday, former Gator Lisa Raymond won a bronze medal in mixed doubles tennis.   In track, Tony McQuay finished fourth in the semifinals of the 400 meters and did not advance to the finals.   However, Florida’s Will Claye earns a bronze medal in the long jump competition, the first medal for the U.S. in this event since 2004.

Today, some old Gator friends get together in women’s soccer as the U.S. team, featuring former Gators Abby Wambach and Heather Mitts, square off against Canada featuring former Gator Mel Booth.   And former Gator track star Kerron Clement is in the finals of the 400 meter hurdles competition today as well.
