Blackmon Agrees To Terms; Tuesday Sports News And Notes…

** The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to terms with first round draft choice Jistim Blackmon and he becomes the last first rounder to agree to contract terms.  In other NFL news, the Cleveland Browns name rookie Brandon Weeden the starter and former Jets quarterback Boomer Esiason says the team should cut former Gator Tim Tebow.  And Terrell Owens won’t go away; the 38 year old receiver signs a one year deal with Seattle.

** The Tampa Bay Rays may get some good news today because it looks like infielder Evan Longoria will return to the team after a long time away because of a hamstring injury.

** The United States women’s soccer team is back in the gold medal round after a comeback 4-3 win over Canada.   Former Gator Abby Wambach had a goal in the game for the U.S.
