Game Week In Gainesville

It’s finally game week in Gainesville, and the Gators will begin their 2012 football campaign Saturday in the Swamp when they face Bowling Green.

Besides the lone open practice of the fall a couple Saturdays ago, not much information has been made available since summer practice began.

But if there is one thing Muschamp has made clear over the last couple of days though, is that both Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel will play on Saturday. This morning Muschamp met with the media and explained how playing both quarterbacks would go.

One thing many Gator fans are looking to see is a wide reciever step up and make some big plays for whatever quarterback is on the field. Monday Muschamp said Frankie Hammond Jr. has been the guy this summer who has done all the right things thus far.

Final preparations have started for Saturday, and Muschamp said the team is excited to face Bowling Green and know what they are up against.

Tune in to ESPN Radio 850/900 for pregame coverage beginning at 12:30. on Saturday with kickoff set for 3:30pm.
