** The 4-0 Gator football team moves up in both the AP and the USA Today Coaches polls; Florida is 11th in the AP and 12th in the USA Today poll. Florida has a bye week this week before hosting LSU; the Tigers drop one notch to third in both polls after barely beating unranked Auburn last weekend.
** Denny Hamlin wins the NASCAR race Sunday in New Hampshire but Jimmie Johnson takes over the Chase For The Cup points leadership. Johnson finishes second to Hamlin with Jeff Gordon third to place Johnson first in the overall standings, one point ahead of Brad Keselowski. Hamlin is only seven points off the pace after his win.
** The Gator soccer team beats Georgia Sunday 4-1 to move its record to 6-3-1 overall and to 3-1 in the SEC. Florida scored four goals in the span of 24 minutes to break open a tight game.
** In the Sunday night NFL game, the Baltimore Ravens come from behind in the fourth quarter to stun the New England Patriots 31-30 as Justin Horn kicks a field goal as time expires to give the Ravens (2-1) the win over the Patriots (1-2).
