Six cities are under consideration for the upcoming college football championship game, a new Executive Director for Gator Boosters is named and more in our Tuesday Sports News And Notes…

** BCS conference officials have named six cities as possible host sites for the upcoming college football championship game in the new system to be put in place in two years.   The current BCS host cities will be among the cities under consideration and Atlanta will be another city in the mix.

** Congratulations today to former Gator football player Phil Pharr who has been named the new Executive Director of Gator Boosters, Inc.   He has been with the organization for more than 30 years.

** The Florida-LSU football game will have a 3:30pm start time a week from Saturday and will be broadcast on CBS.

** On a disputed play that was reviewed for a long time, the Seattle Seahawks get a touchdown pass from quarterback Russell Wilson to wide receiver Golden Tate on the last play of the game to give the Seahawks a 14-12 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football.
