Gator Volleyball Swept By Florida State

The 11th ranked Florida volleyball team fell to 12th ranked Florida State last night in Tallahassee. The Gators were swept 3-0 in the Seminoles win. Florida moves to 17-3 overall but remains undefeated in SEC play.  UF assistant head coach Dave Boos says mistakes were costly for the Gators in the match.

With the victory, Florida State snaps a 21 match losing streak to Florida dating back to 1994.  Coach Boos says seeing Florida State’s unique style of play will help the Gators going forward.

The loss snaps the Gators 14 match win streak but Coach Boos was happy with the way the team fought despite being down.

Florida looks to get back on track this weekend as they host Mississippi State on Friday in the O’Connell Center. Catch all the action on ESPN Radio 850 900 starting at 6:50pm.
