Gators Finish SEC Play Against Mizzou In The Swamp

The Florida Gator football team is looking to finish up SEC play strong this weekend when Missouri comes to town.  The Tigers are coming off of their first SEC win over Kentucky last weekend, 33-10. Coming from the Big 12, Mizzou head coach Gary Pinkel talks about the difference between playing in the Big 12 and the SEC.

Missouri has a record of 3-13 against Top 15 teams under Pinkel and he says that it will be tough to stop Florida running back Mike Gillislee and the offensive line.

Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn leads a Gator defense that is giving up on 12.8 points per game, the fourth fewest in the country.  Missouri has scored an average of 24.4 points per game. Quinn talks about facing a mobile quarterback in James Franklin.

After an ugly 17-9 loss to Georgia last week that will filled with turnovers, offensive lineman Jon Halapio said that the O-line lost its composure.

After throwing two picks and fumbling the ball, quarterback Jeff Driskel showed weakness for the first time this season.  Gator head coach Will Muschamp talks about what the team needs to do around Driskel to improve.

Kickoff is set for 12:00pm. Don’t forget to catch all the coverage of the game right here on ESPN 850/900 and also on our sister station Country 103-7 The Gator starting with the 1st & 10 Pregame Show at 9am followed by the Extra Point Postgame show one hour after the game.
