The Washington Redskins, Houston Texans and New England Patriots all came away with NFL wins on Thanksgiving Day.

Washington held on to beat Dallas on the road 38-31 as both teams are now 5-6 on the season.   Houston had its second straight overtime win in beating Detroit 34-31 when Shayne Graham kicked a field goal with just over two minutes left on overtime to lift the Texans (10-1) to the win over Detroit (4-7).   And the New England Patriots (8-3) built a 28-0 lead and cruised past the bumbling New York Jets (4-7) 49-19.

In college football, TCU upset Texas 20-13 and more college football games are on tap for today including LSU at Arkansas, Syracuse at Temple, Ohio at Kent State, South Florida at Cincinnati and Nebraska at Iowa.
