** Auburn and Tennessee are still looking for new coaches and one report has former Gator assistant and current Louisville coach Charlie Strong interviewing for the job although he has denied the report.   And Jon Gruden says he’s received no offer to coach at Tennessee which reportedly would have included part ownership of the Cleveland Browns.

** The conference shuffling continues as it looks like Conference USA will be adding Middle Tennessee State and Florida Atlantic.   Florida International already accepted a bid to play in the league starting next year.

** In MLB news, the Atlanta Braves have reportedly signed free agent outfielder B.J. Upton to a five year, $75 million deal.   Cincinnati has reportedly signed reliever Jonathan Broxton and the New York Yankees get veteran Andy Pettitte back for one season.
