Gator Men’s Hoops Faces Air Force

The 14th ranked Gator men’s basketball team continues its December road journey when it plays Air Force today in the Orange Bowl Classic.

The Gators come off a loss on the road against Kansas State and now stand at 8-2 on the year.  

Air Force will start five seniors including guard including 6’5″ guard Michael Lyons who averages 20.5 points a game and a team best 5.3 rebounds.  

Florida will look to regain its defensive mojo after giving up nearly 70 points to Kansas State.   The Gators still only allow an average of 51.3 points a game, one of the best totals in the country.
