Gators Set To Face Louisville Wednesday In Sugar Bowl

The Gator football team is putting its final touches on preparation for Wednesday’s Sugar Bowl matchup with Louisville.

You can hear the game live starting with the First And Ten pregame show at 5:30pm.

Florida has a lot to play for in this game with a chance to end up number two in the country by closing out the season 12-1.   The Gators have shown improvement in all phases recently and we’ll see if that carries over after a long layoff since its last game against FSU.  In that game, Florida scored 37 points and running back Mike Gillislee gutted a good FSU defense by running for 140 yards.

Florida will go up against a Louisville team that has coaches very familiar with some of the players on the Gator team; in fact, some were recruited to UF by some members of the Louisville staff, headed up by former UF defensive coordinator Charlie Strong.

The Gators are a double digit favorite in the game according to some oddsmakers.
