** The Gator men’s basketball team is now back in the Top Ten at number 10 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll.    Louisville is number one and only one other SEC team is ranked with Missouri at number 17.

** In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lance Armstrong has apparently admitted doping and has also apologized for his actions.   The interview is set to run later this week.

** The Orlando Magic get blown out by Washington 120-91 while the Miami Heat lose 104-97 on the road at Utah as stars Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade sit for much of the fourth quarter.

** SEC men’s hoops action tonight as struggling Kentucky meets struggling Tennessee.

** USC has fired men’s basketball coach Kevin O’Neill with assistant Bob Cantu named the interim coach.   The Trojans were 2-2 in league play.
