Gator Indoor Track Hosts Gator Invitational Today

The Florida Gator track and field team will host the Gator Invitational indoor meet this afternoon in the O’Connell Center.   The Gators are coming off of a great performance at the Crimson Tide Indoor last weekend with 17 top three finishes and six event victories.

The #2 men’s team and the #5 women’s team are excited to head back to their home turf for this weekend’s meet.  Gator head coach Mike Holloway says that he wants to make sure that his team doesn’t become complacent after the good showing at the opener.

With underclassmen leading the way, Holloway was impressed that his athletes were able to prepare well for the opener and then quickly put it behind them.

The Gator Invitational starts this afternoon at 2 pm in the O’ Connell Center.
