** The Gator men’s basketball team is now in the top ten in both major college basketball polls.   Florida faces Georgia in Athens on Wednesday, a team Florida blew out earlier this year in Gainesville.

** Two SEC matchups tonight as Missouri hosts South Carolina and Alabama hosts Kentucky.

** Former Gator golfer Brian Gay is celebrating today after winning this past weekend on the PGA Tour; he won the Humana Challenge, his fourth Tour win.

** The Senior Bowl will be cranking up soon and some former Gator football players like offensive lineman Xavier Nixon and running back Mike Gillislee are scheduled to participate.

** And we’ll be hearing about the Super Bowl and the Harbaugh matchup constantly until the game on February 3; the game matches John Harbaugh’s Baltimore Ravens against Jim Harbaugh’s San Francisco 49ers.
