** In SEC men’s hoops action, Alabama tops Kentucky 59-55 in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday night.  Alabama is now 4-1 in SEC play while the Wildcats fall to 3-2.   Also in the SEC, Missouri beats South Carolina 71-65.

** More SEC hoops tonight as Mississippi State plays Arkansas, LSU faces Texas A&M and Auburn tangles with Vanderbilt.

** Former Gator front court player Marreese Speights has been traded.   He leaves the Memphis Grizzlies and goes to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a multi-player trade.

** The Orlando Magic lose again, this time to Detroit 105-90.   J.J. Redick scores 26 in a losing cause.

** The New Orleans Saints have their head coach back as suspended coach Sean Payton was reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after sitting out a year for his role in allowing a fund to be created to be given to players for delivering big hits and other key plays.
