Gators Women’s Basketball Looking To Bounce Back Against Mizzou

The Gators women’s basketball team is now 13-8 (2-5 SEC) as they head to conference newcomer Missouri tonight, who has an identical 13-8 (2-5 SEC) record as the Gators. Mizzou is chock full of shooters including sophomore guard Morgan Eye who hits 43% from behind the arc.  Gators coach Amanda Butler talks about Eye and her skill set.

Florida has gone through a rough patch of late, dropping its last four SEC matchups.  The team is working on bringing back defensive intensity and playing a complete game to try and get a win against the Tigers.  Redshirt freshman Carlie Needles says that throughout injuries and lineup changes, the Gators need to pull together to get the win.

This is the first time the Gators have traveled to play in the state of Missouri.  Tip off for the game is set for 8pm.
