** Lots of SEC men’s basketball results today. Ole Miss is a game back of Florida in the SEC now after blitzing Florida’s next opponent, Mississippi State, 93-75. Marshall Henderson scored 31 for the Rebels who are now 7-2 in the SEC, and the Bulldogs fell to 2-7. LSU edged Vandy 57-56; Auburn beat Alabama 49-37 in an ugly game and Georgia goes to 5-4 in the SEC with a 68-62 win over Tennessee. Tonight, Missouri plays Texas A&M.
In the NBA, Miami cools off Houston 114-108 as Lebron James scored 32 and Dwayne Wade scored 31. Orlando lost again, this time to the LA Clippers 86-76.
** Play begins tonight in women’s high school basketball regionals in our area. PK Yonge, Gainesville High and Buchholz High are all hosting games tonight.
