** Kyle Busch wins the NASCAR race in California but the race was spiced up by fights among drivers and crews. Defending race champion Tony Stewart confronted fellow driver Joey Logano after Logano was involved in a wreck with Denny Hamlin on the last lap of the race.
** The Gator women’s basketball team plays at Winthrop tonight in the second round of the WNIT.
** Miami advances to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament after a 63-59 win over Illinois; the Hurricanes next play Marquette.
