The Miami Heat win streak rolls on, fights in NASCAR and more in our Monday Sports News And Notes…

** The Miami Heat win streak has reached 26 straight after they knock off Charlotte 109-77 on Sunday.  Miami looks for 27 straight tonight in Orlando.

** Kyle Busch wins the NASCAR race in California but the race was spiced up by fights among drivers and crews.   Defending race champion Tony Stewart confronted fellow driver Joey Logano after Logano was involved in a wreck with Denny Hamlin on the last lap of the race.

** The Gator women’s basketball team plays at Winthrop tonight in the second round of the WNIT.

** Miami advances to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament after a 63-59 win over Illinois; the Hurricanes next play Marquette.

** Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Classic was postponed by weather Sunday but will resume today with Tiger Woods holding the lead.

** The NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament is underway.   All the SEC teams in the tournament advance to second round play.

** The Tampa Bay Lightning fire coach Guy Boucher; the Lightning are next to last in the NHL’s Eastern Conference.
