Gators host 69th annual Pepsi Florida Relays

The Florida track and field teams will host the 69th annual Pepsi Florida Relays at James G. Pressly Stadium. Competition will take place Thursday through Saturday. Events start Thursday at 5 p.m. with only high school athletes competing. Action on Friday and Saturday is set to start at 10 a.m.

Many of the top-ranked teams in the nation will participate in the Florida Relays. Top-ranked opponents on the men’s side includes Florida State, Southern California, Ole Miss, Indiana, Baylor and Oklahoma State. Women’s top competition for the weekend includes Texas, UCF, Baylor, Georgia and Southern California.

Many teams Florida is going up against this weekend will be tough competition at the NCAA championship, and Florida head coach Mike Holloway doesn’t want his team to shy away from going up against the best.

Both the UF men’s and women’s track teams will compete this weekend.
