Gator Baseball Takes On FAU Tuesday Night

Florida takes on FAU Tuesday night after an outstanding performance against FAMU on Monday where they defeated the Rattlers 22-1.

The Owls are currently 28-19 on the season and 13-11 in the Sun Belt conference. FAU’s pitching staff ranks second in the conference with a 3.93 earned run average.

Gators head Coach Kevin O’Sullivan says he doesn’t believe that Tuesday’s game is going to be as easy as Monday’s game.

Senior Cody Dent recorded the first home run of his career at Florida Monday night. Dent is from Boynton Beach near the Florida Atlantic campus and says he is familiar with some of their players.

As for the starting pitcher for Tuesday’s game O’Sullivan has an idea.

First pitch is set to start at 7pm with coverage starting at 6:55 on ESPN850-WRUF.
