** The San Antonio Spurs reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007 after beating the Memphis Grizzlies 93-86 to sweep their four game series. The Spurs now await the winner of the Miami-Indiana series.
** Speaking of that series, that resumes tonight in Indianapolis with the Heat up 2-1.
** A second SEC baseball coach has been fired; Georgia let David Perno go and now Auburn has fired coach John Pawlowski after the Tigers did not make the NCAA field.
** The Gator men’s golf team plays in NCAA Tournament action in Georgia, trying for a national title.
** The French Open continues after fifth seed Tomas Berdych loses on Sunday.
** Interleague play has started in Major League Baseball; the Blue Jays whip the Atlanta Braves 9-3; and Tampa Bay drills Miami 10-6. Those teams play each other again today.
