The Miami Heat are deadlocked 2-2 in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers with Game 5 to take place tonight in Miami.
In Game 4 Indiana got off to a quick 12-0 start and kept up the pace throughout the game. The Pacer front court seemed to have the biggest advantage against the star studded Heat as they outrebounded Miami 49-30 throughout the game. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra credits Indiana’s hustle as the main difference in Game 4.
The Heat will look to make adjustments in South Beach tonight. One statistic they need to improve on is points in the paint. Miami only had 32 points in the paint in their Game 4 loss compared to the 52 points they obtained in Game 3. Driving to the basket is one of the things the Heat believe they do best and Spoelstra says if the Heat want to win they need to go back to their strengths.
Tip-off is set for 8:30 and coverage of tonight’s game can be found on ESPN 850 WRUF starting at 7:30pm.
