Florida starting point guard Scottie Wilbekin has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules. No further details have been made public at this time regarding the senior point guard. Wilbekin has now been suspended for the second time in seven months by head coach Billy Donovan.
Wilbekin was suspended right before the beginning of last season for an undisclosed reason which found him on the bench for three games. Wilbekin did not see action until November 18th vs. Middle Tennessee.
Wilbekin puts himself in even a more difficult position now with the suspension because of probable competition at the point guard spot from highly regarded freshman Casey Hill. Hill comes in after being ranked tenth overall in the ESPN 100 for the 2013 recruiting class.
