The “Big Three” for the Miami Heat finally lived up to their billing on Thursday night as they combined for 85 points in a 109-93 pasting of the San Antonio Spurs that knots the NBA Finals at two games each.
LeBron James led the way with 33 points for Miami but his fellow “Big Three” helped a lot as guard Dwyane Wade scored 32 points and center Chris Bosh chipped in with 20 as the Heat overcame an early 10 point deficit to win the game.
Meanwhile the “Big Three” for San Antonio did not do much as injured guard Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan could not match the point production of James, Wade and Bosh.
James in particular seemed way more aggressive than he was in Game 3, repeatedly running down the floor and attacking the basket, something he has not done consistently in the series.
Game 5 is Sunday in San Antonio.
