** The Chicago Blackhawks are Stanley Cup champions for the second time in four years after a dramatic 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins last night in Boston. Chicago scored twice in the final 1:19 to get the win. They win the series 4-2.
** In an SEC Teleconference yesterday, Gator men’s basketball assistant coach Matt McCall confirmed that point guard Kasey Hill is enrolled in school but that forward Chris Walker still is not, still with work to do to be able to qualify academically.
** Men’s fifth seed Rafael Nadal is gone from Wimbledon after losing in straight sets and women’s fifth seed Sara Errani also loses.
** The Tampa Bay Rays end Toronto’s 11 game winning streak with a 4-1 win last night in Tampa. The teams play again tonight.
** In the College World Series, UCLA beats Mississippi State 3-1 in Omaha to go up a game in the best two of three final. The teams play again tonight.
