The Florida Gator football team will be back in action this Saturday following a bye week, hosting Tennessee.
The Gator offense is looking to improve upon its performance from its 21-16 loss against in-state rival Miami Hurricanes. Offensive coordinator Brent Pease discussed the offense, which looked effective moving the ball down field but stalled when in the redzone.
On Saturday, the Gators will take on SEC rival Tennessee. The Gators haven’t lost to Tennessee since 2004 and will look to extend that streak.
Despite this fact, Pease is not taking Tennessee lightly, and he acknowledged that Tennessee’s defense has players who can make plays.
Pease intends to make sure the offense improves by simply putting the right guys in the right place at the right time.
Florida faces Tennessee Saturday with coverage on ESPN 850 WRUF starting at 11am with kickoff at 3:30pm.
