** The 19th ranked Gator football team prepares for a trip to Kentucky this weekend to play the Wildcats. The offense of course will now be run by quarterback Tyler Murphy after starter Jeff Driskel was lost for the season because of injury.
** The Miami Dolphins move to 3-0 on the season after defeating the Atlanta Falcons 27-23 on Sunday in the NFL. The news was not as good for Tampa Bay and Jacksonville who fall to 0-3; the Bucs lose 23-3 to New England and the Jags fall 45-17 in Seattle.
** Monday Night Football tonight as Denver faces Oakland; you can hear the game live on ESPN 850 WRUF starting at 8pm.
** The Atlanta Braves and Oakland A’s clinched division titles yesterday; the Braves with the NL East for the first time since 2005 and Oakland wins the AL West.
** In the wild card races, Cincinnati has tied Pittsburgh for the NL wild card lead after beating the Pirates 11-3 Sunday. Both teams remain two games behind St.Louis for the NL Central lead; the Cardinals host Washington, Pittsburgh is at the Chicago Cubs and the Reds host the New York Mets.
** In the American League wild card, Tampa Bay leads Cleveland by a half game as the Rays beat slumping Baltimore 3-1 while Cleveland downs Houston 9-2. Texas is a game and a half behind Cleveland after losing 4-0 to Kansas City. Today, the Rays host the Orioles, Texas hosts Houston and Cleveland is off.
** Matt Kenseth makes it two in a row; two NASCAR Chase For The Cup races and two wins as he wins in New Hampshire on Sunday.
