** Senior Gator defensive tackle Dominique Easley is turning pro, according to Florida head coach Will Muschamp. Easley, out for the year with a torn ACL, could apply for a redshirt but he will not and will turn pro instead. No decision has been reached on the same subject by injured senior receiver Andre Debose.
** On Monday Night Football, it was the New Orleans Saints using four Drew Brees touchdown passes to torch the Miami Dolphins 38-17.
** In MLB, David Price and the Tampa Bay Rays win a wild card play in game by beating Texas 5-2 last night; the Rays will now play the AL wild card game at Cleveland Wednesday.
