The Florida Gator soccer team swept its homestand this weekend winning both games by the score of 3-0 and on Sunday LSU was the latest team to lose.
The Gators once again got to an early lead with two Savannah Jordan goals in the first half. The first goal was off a Pamela Begic cross that Jordan was able to clean up and put into the back of the net; her second goal came from a shot taken near the top of the box.
Annie Speese would add a goal in the second half of the contest hitting on a free kickoff putting the Gators up 3-0. The Gators were able to hold the Tigers scoreless on their seven shots with goal keeper Nora Neset Gjoen getting the start.
Florida has now one their past four SEC games and are 6-2 in the conference. The Gators will next face Tennessee on the road in Knoxville on Friday with gametime set for 7 pm.
