Another Injury For Gator Football

As if the Gator football program needs any more bad news, it got some today.   Head coach Will Muschamp said starting linebacker Antonio Morrison is out for the year with an injury, the 10th Gator player lost to a season ending injury.

Morrison has a torn meniscus in his knee and Florida’s leading tackler becomes the latest Gator to go down to an injury.

Muschamp also said starting quarterback Tyler Murphy has a sore shoulder and would not practice Monday and Tuesday but should get back to work after that point.

There was some better news; Muschamp said wide receiver Andre Debose was granted a sixth year of eligibility and he will return to the team next season after he tore an ACL this year and was lost for the season.

Florida is preparing to play at South Carolina Saturday.
