Some trouble for FSU’s quarterback, the Cy Young Award winners are announced and football tonight…all in our Thursday Sports update.
** FSU starting quarterback Jameis Winston is being investigated in a sexual battery case that was filed in Tallahassee back in December of last year. Winston has not been charged and he will play this week for the Seminoles.
** NFL football tonight as the Indianapolis Colts face the Tennessee Titans. In college football, Georgia Tech is at Clemson and Marshall is at Tulsa.
** Taking to the Gator sports website to deliver information, Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley gave a vote of confidence to football coach Will Muschamp. Foley says he is confident that Muschamp will turn the program around from a tough year this season.
** LA Dodger lefty Clayton Kershaw and Detroit righty Max Scherzer are named the National and American League Cy Young Award winners. Kershaw easily outdistanced St.Louis starter Adam Wainwright and Scherzer beat out Texas starter Yu Darvish easily.
** The Orlando Magic rally to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 94-91 Wednesday behind 36 points from guard Arron Afflalo.
