We’ll talk college football, pro football, hoops, baseball and more in today’s Friday Sports update…

** In college football, Clemson rips Georgia Tech 55-31 Thursday night, keeping its BCS bowl game hopes alive.

** In the NFL, Indianapolis rallies to beat Tennessee 30-27 as the Colts bounce back from a loss last week.  And the New York Jets sign veteran safety Ed Reed after he was let go by Houston.

** All three Florida NFL teams are in action Sunday.    Tampa Bay faces Atlanta; Jacksonville entertains Arizona and Miami hosts San Diego.

** In women’s college basketball, the Gator women’s team falls to 2-1 after losing 71-59 at Virginia Tech on Thursday; they’ll play Kennesaw State on Sunday.

** The Gator cross country teams compete Friday in the NCAA South Regional being held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

** In MLB news, Miguel Cabrera is now a back to back MVP of the American League after winning the award yesterday.   Former Gator signee and Pittsburgh Pirates star Andrew McCutcheon wins the NL MVP.
