Manziel Making Decision, Wednesday Sports Update

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel could make his decision today as to whether or not he will enter the NFL Draft and leave school early as this story headlines our Wednesday Sports Update.  Other stories of interest…

** Seven SEC teams are ranked in the final USA Today Coaches college football poll.   Auburn is number two with South Carolina fourth, Missouri fifth, and Alabama eighth.

** Missouri running back Henry Josey will leave school early for the NFL Draft.

** The Miami Dolphins have fired general manager Jeff Ireland after six seasons and just one playoff appearance.

** SEC play has opened in men’s basketball with two games last night.   Tennessee blasts LSU in Baton Rouge 68-50 and Alabama tops Vanderbilt 68-63.   Four games are on tap for tonight.

** The Miami Heat down the New Orleans Pelicans 107-88 as LeBron James scores 32 points.

** The Chicago Bulls trade Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers for center Andrew Bynum who was then waived by the Bulls.  The Bulls also get a first round pick and two second round selections as well.

    If Manziel leaves early, well I hope he gets his degree in sports journalism because he really impressed me with his analysis on the BCS pre-game shows on ESPN.
    He really surprised me with how well spoken he was for his 1st time on the big stage.
