Three Elected To Baseball Hall of Fame

Pitchers Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux and first baseman/designated hitter Frank Thomas have been elected to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in voting announced today.

They will join former managers Joe Torre, Bobby Cox and Tony LaRussa who will also be inducted this year.

Craig Biggio, who narrowly missed induction last year did not make it again this year and pitcher Jack Morris also does not get enough votes in his final year of eligibility before the Veteran’s Committee can decide whether or not to induct the former starting pitcher.
