** In SEC men’s basketball, Ole Miss and Georgia move to 4-1 in league play with wins on Wednesday.   Ole Miss downs Vanderbilt 63-52 while Georgia clobbers South Carolina 97-76.  Mississippi State is 3-2 in the league after beating Auburn 82-74 and Florida’s opponent on Saturday, Tennessee, beats Arkansas 81-74.

** The Orlando Magic lose to the Atlanta Hawks 112-109; Victor Oladipo scores 24 points in a losing effort.

** FSU backup quarterback Jacob Coker is apparently going to transfer to Alabama.   And the Seminoles promote linebackers coach Charles Kelly to defensive coordinator.

** The Senior Bowl will be played Saturday in Mobile, Alabama and three Gator players are in the game in wide receiver Solomon Patton, offensive lineman Jon Halapio and defensive back Jaylen Watkins.

** Percy Harvin was a full participant in practices for the Seattle Seahawks as they prepare for the Super Bowl against Denver.   Harvin has played sparingly this year because of numerous injuries.
