Quick-Post: Florida Survives and Advances 67-55 over Albany

The Florida Gator men’s basketball team advances to the third round of the NCAA Tournament by defeating the Albany Great Danes 67-55 Thursday in Orlando.

Casey Prather and Dorian Finney-Smith both lead the Gators with 16 points, and Kasey Hill added 10 more off 17 minutes participating fully and often in this game after he’d been listed as a game-time decision going into the contest because of turf toe.

Albany made sure to not let Florida’s Michael Frazier II have any open shots as he finished with just three points off five attempts all game.

Albany guard DJ Evans ended the game with 21 points and played all but two minutes for the Great Danes.

Florida will now play Pittsburgh on Thursday; Pittsburgh crushed Colorado in its opening game on Thursday.
