Finished Business: Florida Moves On 61-45 Over Pittsburgh

The Florida Gator men’s basketball team defeats the Pittsburgh Panthers in the Round of 32 in Orlando with a score of 61-45 and will advance to the Sweet Sixteen next weekend.

Senior guard Scottie Wilbekin lead the Gators with 21 points, including scoring 13 of the team’s 15 points near the end of the game. Michael Frazier II was the only other Gator player in double-digits with 10 despite only shooting 3-for-10 form beyond the arc.

The Panthers were held to just 37 percent shooting from the floor and Talib Zanna led their team with just 10 points — the only Pitt player in double-digits.

Up next for Florida is the Sweet 16 next week in Memphis Tennessee.
